@yodamac
" I don't rent movies often enough (only because of the 24 hour limit) to pay a monthly fee for that either"

So, lets say you don't have to buy or rent the movie, but you can just watch whatever movie there is on iTunes because you have a subscription. Doesn't that sound good? This would solve the issue of the 24 hour limit problem you have with the rentals.

It would depend on the price, but netflix does it right now with the roku, as it has movies and some TV content. I would pay $60 for a subscription to all the iTunes TV, Movie and Music Video content to play on my Apple TV and iTunes.

I do agree that regular mp3 or AAC music should be purchased, or do the Zune model where it is a subscription with the option to own 10 DRM free songs a month with the subscription.

I agree that this would help boost AppleTV interest, but I would not be interested in any sort of Music or Movie subscription service at all. I prefer to buy my music from iTunes and keep it. And I don't rent movies often enough (only because of the 24 hour limit) to pay a monthly fee for that either.

I WOULD be very interested in it for TV Shows for sure. And would seriously consider dumping cable in favor of being able to cue-up and watch any TV show available -anytime I want. Since I don't want to own or keep TV shows.
