ATVJ Wants Your Feedback

We’ve been at this now for a little over a year, and we have seen a lot of changes come to the Apple TV and iTunes. We do our best to cover all of the latest changes and additions but we want to hear from you, our ATVJ readers, about what you might like to see us cover on ATVJ. If you would like to see us do something differently, or something completely new which we don’t do already, please feel free to let us know. Maybe there’s a service you wished Apple would proved but doesn’t. We’re working on a few new tricks that we think, as Apple TV and iTunes Movie consumers, you all will like. We’re open to any and all comments and we thank you for your continued support.

I’d lve ATV to be able to surf the net with on your TV using a bluetooth keyboard. wish there’d be updates on HD version of the latest indiana jones…

It’d be great if the “new rentals” and related posts gave some kind of value judgement about what has been added. So, if there are 10 new titles, what should I watch? Some kind of matrix against a rating system (imdb or whatever), or editorial comment would be helpful. Or even just a comment about one key item of note among the list. Thanks!

I would simply like to see an update to apple tv or even a recent vague reference from Apple about updating this devise in the future. I was going to hold off buying another one for our tv upstairs because I sensed an update, but alas, nothing thus far.

A couple of things I would like to see would be a complete and regularly updated sortable list of iTunes video content, not just recently released content.

I would also like to see a list of Music Video content available from iTunes added to the site.

What would really be helpful would be a compiled list of resources of possible solutions available for me to add my own DVD content to iTunes (for Window, in my case). There doesn’t seem to be a central repository anywhere on the internet for solutions specific to the Apple TV.

Hi Maury, thank you for your feedback. To answer one of your questions, if you look under our “Apple TV Tools” section you will find a list of apps which will help you with getting DVD content onto your Apple TV. Windows and Mac.

Still waiting for a new ATVJ Podcast episode….in HD, of course.

While I do appreciate all the “just released” lists, I really always find myself checking your site for any new aTV news, editorials, links, etc. aTV users are interested in streaming media news of just about any kind related to aTV.

And speaking to those “just released” lists – any thought given to implementing a “Choose your country” option when visiting the site? I really don’t care about specific releases in other countries – other than the fact that Apple is expanding it’s customer base. But the actual release titles?… nope.

Quite glad to see aTV Hacks and Tools back on the site.
