I still have my VHS & Beta VCRs at my parents home in Mexico. Have not used a tape in years. In 1988 Sony lost the VHS vs Beta battle. In 2008 Sony won the Bluray vs HD-DVD battle :) Eventually streaming from home and well distributed servers in Web 2.0 will overtake any format. I blame Telco (CableCo) greed (as it is called) for not providing reliable, inexpensive real broadband networks. It has been over 20 yrs. I still have my VHS & Beta VCRs at my parents home in Mexico.
