Yes you read that correctly, it looks as though Apple is changing up how they offer their $.99 movies of the week and are now offering movie rentals, plural, of the week. Currently there is only one title listed on the page, As Good As It Gets, but it seems as though there is space for more titles. It’s hard for me to believe Apple would dedicate an entire section for just one title. Head on over to this new page in the iTunes Store and see for yourself.
Update – This page is now listing O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Lethal Weapon also as $.99 movies rentals of the week. I guess you can consider this the iTunes Store $.99 bin.


New purchase titles
It looks like Apple is upping the ante a bit as far as the under $10 titles are concerned by adding a group of fairly recent movies. Now the quality on the other hand, I’ll let you be the judge. Below is the list of titles:
