Two new TV Shows were added to the HD TV Show list, Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog & The Tudors, Season 1. Both are available through the Apple TV and iTunes Store.

Hi All, we’ve decided to delay Podcast 8 a bit this week so that we can include a review of the latest version of Boxee to be released on December 4th. So be on the lookout later this week or weekend for what we will call ATVJ Podcast 8.5 Extended Edition. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming already in progress.

One new purchase title which snuck under my radar last night was Step Brothers. You can purchase and download this title now through Apple TV or the iTunes Store.
Not only that, but it appears as though this is the first “Purchase Only” title to come with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, this feature was previously limited to HD rental titles. Also, it seems to be the first time Apple has listed any title in the iTunes Store, not Apple TV, indicating that it contains DD 5.1.
There is no rental date for this title at this time.
Update – As commenter ConnorW pointed, apparently 3 days ago, Apple has been adding Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound to various HD TV Shows as well, such as The Office. As I track down which TV Shows contain this new feature an update will follow.

Below is the list of new HD Rentals that have been added to Apple TV.
It looks like the focus for the beginning of this week will be on the purchase titles because there isn’t much to write home about in the HD rental department with only 4 new fairly obscure HD rental titles today.
And I think at this point I’m giving up on Indy 4 in HD for now, all though I hope at some point in the future he’ll be back.
