Daily SD Rental Update 10-30-08

iTunes SD Rentals New Releases for 10-30-08.

10 New SD Releases and 6 Removals for today.

Just like with today’s New HD Releases, horror seems to be the theme of the day. Along with Freddy vs Jason, we also have Van Helsing. Not the best horror movie out there, but it does have tons of crazy CGI and of course, Kate Beckinsale in a bustier!

Like The Lady Said, Katie I’d Like To Use One Of My Life Lines

I was recently asked to take part in a Engadget HD podcast roundtable discussion on digital media vs. physical media. I was invited because of my obvious support for the Apple TV, with other members of the roundtable representing other media providers such as VUDU and Blu-ray.

HD Netflix streaming coming to the XBOX 360

Engadget is reporting that the new Xbox 360 dashboard will include Netflix HD content. It was already known that the instant queue would be added, but the addition of HD content is an added bonus. According to the article it is a soft launch with only 300 titles at this time, but I think it’s safe to assume that will grow.  With all of this coming what’s left for Blu Ray? The move to digitally distributed content is in full swing, and maybe this is why Apple TV is still a hobby. However boys in Cupertino need to start taking this seriously; if they want to lead the march. First thing let me buy HD movies for less the 20.00, and rent TV for a small fee.
