With the news this week of Netflix and Netflix HD Streaming finally coming to the Xbox 360, this got me thinking of how a subscription based model might work with the Apple TV/iTunes Store. For instance, I think a subscription based model would be awesome for TV Shows. One monthly charge might get you so many views a month, almost replicating a cable service. I’m not so sure how a streaming movie service would go over. As a lot of us have said over and over, I think we want to own our movies and rent TV Shows. So what do you think. Would you like to see a subscription service come to the Apple TV/iTunes Store? Take our poll to the right or leave a comment below.

We have 4 more titles to end the week. If your sick of the halloween horror we have a few comedies for your viewing please, in particular one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time, The 40 Year Old Virgin. And I think, I may be wrong, but The 40 Year Old Virgin is making it’s return trip as an HD title to Apple TV.

Apple Movie Junkie, formerly Apple TV Junkie, is the official blog of Cinemira. We provide a helpful service for users of the iTunes Movie Store and the Apple TV. AMJ was born out of a surprising shortcoming on the Apple TV after noticing that there was no easy way to find a list of all new HD & SD rental titles released on a daily basis. AMJ fills that niche with a daily list of new movies.
