What's left for Blu-Ray? How about an actual selection that people want to watch. You'll find few if any movies in Netflix' streaming offerings that are desirable, recently-released films. Its all ancient catalog titles and some stuff no one wants to see.

After selection, there's quality. I don't know how Netflix HD content will fair, but if its anything like Apple's HD content then it's closer to upconverted SD than HD.

@Keith - much to my dismay this Netflix capability is disabled in the NXE (New XBox Experience) update for Canada.

@Yodamac - readers should look at the comments for the article you mentioned, the analysis in that article gets torn apart. I may write a rebuttal because I think it's flawed too.

As an Xbox 360 and Apple TV owner, I really don't desire to watch content on my Xbox. Certainly, if it's the only thing you have connected, it makes sense to take advantage of it. I would have used Netflix but Canadians are left out in the cold again (figuratively and literally!)

The Mac Observer website has posted an article (and ensuing discussion) about Netflix -vs- Apple TV.
