Macrumors and Gizmodo are reporting on a few rumors regarding the new MacBooks supporting Blu-ray and a new networked HDTV from Apple containing a built-in Apple TV.

Macrumors is reporting that apparently at a live taping of Diggnation, which is not yet available, Kevin Rose said that the new MacBooks will be supporting Blu-ray drives. I am also going to guess that, if there are new MacBook Pro’s, they will also support Blu-ray drives. Any guesses on how long it will take until we see one of these drives in a MacMini or an Apple TV/Blu-ray combo.

The second rumor comes from Gizmodo. This rumors was started by Jason Calacanis, of Mahalo fame, and he is saying that Apple is developing a networked LCD HDTV that will have built-in Apple TV capabilities. Didn’t Intel and Yahoo announce something like this not too long ago?
