The movies on the SD Rentals Removal list are titles that are no longer available to rent. They have not been completely removed from iTunes. You just can&#039;t rent them anymore. But they are available for purchase if you want to own them.

We believe that it does come down to a contractual issue. I&#039;m guessing it&#039;s like a lease from the studios. Once the lease is done, the movies are removed.</description>
