To celebrate the iTunes launch of the newest American Originals Series, Sandhogs, on September 8, History is placing all of its exciting American Originals series on sale for $.99 per episode. These series include Ice Road Truckers, Ax Men and Tougher in Alaska.

It looks like we’ve got our first summer blockbuster confirmation with Iron Man being offered as a pre-order in the iTunes Movie Store. The expected release date for purchase is September 30th. It also looks like Iron Man will become a rental on November 12th.

Along with the pre-order of Iron Man, The Godfather, Pt.III is available for pre-order. The expected release date for this title is also September 30th. No rental release date is given.

There is not a whole heck of a lot going on this week for new releases. The studios might schedule a slow week because of the holiday weekend.
