To tell you the truth this feature maybe have been present since the last 2.1 update, but I don’t remember seeing it before tonight, or it being covered on another website. It seems that in the Podcast section of Apple TV we now have the ability to sort by Audio, Video or All Podcasts. Apple added this feature to the iTunes Store not too long ago, but now it seems Apple TV users have gained this sorting ability. So next time your browsing through the Podcasts in Apple TV, look up at the top of the screen for the “new” sort feature, and if this was an old feature I’m just discovering please feel free to let me know.
[MacWorld] For anyone having issues of a slow Apple TV, MacWorld has posted a few tips on how you might be able to speed up your sluggish media player. Switching from HDMI to Component seems like a reasonable step to take but I’m not sure how many of us have an extra Mac mini laying around to use as a dedicated server. Head on over to MacWorld to get all the details.
Junkies, have we got a treat for you. I don’t wanna give much away, but Tropic Thunder is a movie about the making of a movie. And Rain of Madness is a movie about the making of a movie that is based on the making of a movie. I mean it’s just plain hysterical! Beware, the Madness is contagious!
It has come to our attention that when we switched the site over to the new design, this move removed the ability to login or register if someone wanted to leave a comment. This issue is now resolved. If you want to leave a comment, click on the little comment bubble or click into a particular post, scroll to the bottom, login or register and leave your comment. We will try and streamline the login and new registration process as soon as we can. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Apple Movie Junkie, formerly Apple TV Junkie, is the official blog of Cinemira. We provide a helpful service for users of the iTunes Movie Store and the Apple TV. AMJ was born out of a surprising shortcoming on the Apple TV after noticing that there was no easy way to find a list of all new HD & SD rental titles released on a daily basis. AMJ fills that niche with a daily list of new movies.
