For the past several weeks, since my original post back on June 2nd, I’ve been following the comments of ATVJ members unsuccessful attempts at trying to get the aTV to actually install on their Apple TV. The issue seemed to be with the USB memory stick which is needed to install the hack onto the Apple TV. Well it seems as though someone has finally had a successful install.

Update – Everything is working properly now. I just used a different USB stick. Apparently, sanDisk is the worst one to use. I found a $7 512 MB stick at office depot that worked. So, Patchstick works, all the new menu items are up, and they all seem to be working nicely. Thanks to the help from the Applecore guys as well…

What has everyone else’s experience been with the aTV. Is it really all about the USB stick? Was silver93 the only one to get the hack working? Inquiring minds want to know.
