First off I’d like to thank everyone who participated in our last poll. I had a feeling that the majority of Apple TV owners were renting titles. I think it’s a matter of quality.

On to the next poll and it took me a while to figure out how to word this without it sounding sexist. But, over the last few weeks I’ve noticed that the titles which were topping the Rental and Purchase lists were what someone might consider chick flicks. 27 Dresses, P.S. I Love You and to some extent Juno. I find this particularly interesting because I’ve always assumed, again without trying to sound sexist, that the Apple TV was a geek guy gadget. So are there more females using Apple TV then I thought, is it the boyfriend/husband crowd who are renting these movies or is this the children/teenage crowd renting or purchasing? Let me know by participating in the new poll in the right hand column. I realize you could be more then one type of user on the poll so you have the ability to choose more then one.

I hope everyone, in the states anyway, is enjoying their Memorial Day. Eight additional catalog titles were found over the weekend. These titles include First Night, Fletch, Good Boy, It Could Happen To You, Lone Wolf McQuade, Pitch Black (Unrated Version), The Breakfast Club and The Chronicles of Riddick.

So it looks like Episode 1 of the Apple TV Junkie podcast is going to hit the net around the 27th of May, just after Memorial Day. For this first episode I’ll being going over some of the history of the Apple TV, how I came to create ATVJ and I’ll try and answer some of the frequently asked questions I see in the comments. Considering I’ve never done a podcast this should be interesting at the very least and hopefully slightly entertaining and informative for you all.
